The following items were discussed:
Club training weekend – at the time just 4 places were left to fill.
We now have two safeguarding and welfare officers: Sam H and Howard, to help deal with any situations that might cause distress to club members.
Kelly, with help from Eric, and others, will start a 10 week coaching session for juniors, from Tuesday September 13th, between 5.30 and 6.30, initially based at Wigmore HS.
A First Aid training course, primarily for coaches and helpers at events, will be held on Saturday September 17th, in Kinsham village hall.
Some of the profit from the Shobdon Wood race will be spent on commissioning a new oak frame for the information board at the Arches.
Winter cross country dates (venues yet to be decided): 30 October, 20 November (probably at Croft), 18 December, 15 January and 26 February. County championship races either 22 or 29 January.
Clare has a large number of snoods/buffs, at £3 each, and bobble hats and baseball caps too. Race vests are expected to arrive very soon!
