Croft packed well to fill 9 of the top 10 places, with Nigel Misselbrook responding to Nicky’s call for support and being first to cross the line, followed by Patrick, another runner it was good to see competing again. Jimmy was 4th (winter training in sunny Cyprus?) followed by Simon (it must be a a year or two since he was last seen in a Croft vest!) and then Nicky, first lady. Despite Croft’s quality, it was deemed that Lucton had won based solely on quantity. It was good though to see such wide support, with youngsters Ireland, Tom, Hannah and John, and even Athena.
