Excellent Croft turn-out – 20 runners, 4 ladies/4 teams. Stacey had his best result yet – 2nd, only 7 seconds behind Matt James, Dave George ran a magnificent 7th, 2 places ahead of the rarely sighted Dave Moss. Dan was hot on their heels in 11th, with Richard running well to finish in 14th, 13 seconds ahead of Dave Powell.Guy (19th) overtook a tiring Pat (21st) on the last hill. In his first race for Croft, Ed Henry did really well to finish 26th (top 30%). Despite her training in Spanish heat, Suzanne slipped to 5th lady, but still managed to outrun Tom (42nd), Jimmy (43rd) and Gary (44th). Neil (54th) crossed the line just ahead of Harry Franklin, with Nicky a little further back. Dave Rouse (snr) was 64th and Bryan 70th. Rachel looked still quite strong as she finished 83rd. Kim was 2nd Junior Lady.
