Cardington Cracker

Nearly 300 runners this year, and no snow or ice! The wind, on top of Caradoc particularly, was fierce and even the downhill was a bit of a struggle.Surprisingly, the surface was quite slippery in places: part moss and part a wet top inch. Richard raced round at a fine speed, 46th out of 291, in 1hr 31.43. Benefiting from the ‘warmer’ conditions, I finished some 7 minutes faster than last year, 112th, in 1hr 42.19. The race was won by Andy Davies in 1.11.28
