Another orchard, a bigger hill and harder ground. Only 114 runners, and Croft numbers down too, though some great performances from Gavin, Gemma, and Kevin in particular, so that Croft extended their lead in the team race and Stacey guaranteed his first individual place. Jon Barnes appeared, and beat Stacey into 2nd place (31.36), with Dave Ameghino closing the gap steadily, finishing 7th (34.59), but only 4 seconds in front of Gavin in 8th. With Gemma storming round in 37.51 (24th) the A team wrapped up first place. Mark headed home the B team in 15th, followed by Sue (28th, 38.06), Richard (29th, 38.13) and Kevin, who ran well to come home 32nd (39.11). Pat, Gary and Martin were the C team, with Jo, and we even had a D team on the night (Matt, Guy, Tom and Sam). Full results on Results page.
