14 members attended last night’s AGM (Friday March 13th)
The principal outcomes are:
1) We now have 130 senior members, and 49 juniors.
2) There is a good stock of junior and senior kit, held by Robyn.
3) Officers (re-)elected are; Chairman – Sam, vice-chairman – Eric, treasurer – Tory, secretary – Guy, membership secretary – Sue D, kit – Robyn, publicity – Will, volunteer coordinator – Theresa, safe-guarding officer – Sam. Committee – all of above, + Mike B, Tom D, Carol (Tom) and Neil P, Simon, Mike P, John, Mark (training coordinator), Alice and Kelly.
4) Subs are now due (by April 1st): £30 for seniors, £ 20 for juniors and £15 for 2nd claim members. Be aware that nearly £17 of those sums goes direct to UKA. Please pay by BACS, cash or cheque (to Tory, Sue D, Sam or Bryan). Payments via Paypal cost us over £83 last year. UKA now checks up on our race entries, so unpaid ‘members’ will not be entitled to the £2 reduction for races, and are not eligible to enter events such as Herefordshire league races. You will also have no insurance cover.
