Happy Sunday to all! Another week is over, and the final one in February begins tomorrow. With that being said, let’s get this weekly update underway, shall we?
It was another busy Monday for our Juniors who kickstarted the CARC week. After their warm up and strides, this week’s session was focused on relays and endurance through the woodland loop. This was followed by a session at Croft on Tuesday and a session at High Vinnalls on Thursday for our seniors. Their focus this week was on Short Intervals and Tempo runs.
Moving onto Parkrun Saturday and we had runners taking part in the weekly Saturday morning run all over the country and beyond! There were plenty of Crofties over in Ludlow, with Steve P finishing first Croft member in 10th. His time was 23:03. First Croft female home was Hayley. Well done to Junior Runner; Leni, for running her 10th Parkrun. Those taking home a volunteer credit this week were Casper, Seb and Jamie. Over in Hereford, it was 2nd place overall for Sam M, with Andrew just behind in 3rd. It was also a new PB for Andrew with a time of 17:33. Jo M and Crispin also ran at Hereford. Next up is Groe Parkrun in Builth, where Eric took the win, with a time of 16:33. The first of our Parkrun tourists were Naomi and Henry who were down in Kent at the Kingdom Parkrun. Naomi finished in 25:31, with Henry in 27:02. Elsewhere, Sue F was up in Leicestershire, running at Braustone Parkrun, she finished in 42:52 and Huw was running at Alice Holt Parkrun in Hampsire. A little bit further a field, Sam J, moving on from his SoCal adventure, was in the stunning canyons of Southern Utah, running at Coal Creek Trail Parkrun in Cedar City, and set a course record at a blistering 16:32 just under 6 minutes ahead of the next runner .

Racing on Saturday morning was Steph M in the Brecon Canal 10 Mile, a relatively flat course along a portion of the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal. At the time of writing, results were still pending.
Well done all! Please remember that if you would like your race and achievements included in the weekly report, please get them to me (Bronwyn) by 6pm at the latest. Any that come in after, I cannot promise they will be included. The upcoming training schedule will be live on our Facebook on Monday morning. In the meantime, don’t forget, we’re always on the look out for your race reports for the website, so get posting them on Facebook or send them to either Sam H, Tori, Huw or myself (Bronwyn).
