Main Points from the Meeting held on Monday 7 th August 2023
Club to give a donation of £250.00 to Hereford Track Fund from profits of Shobdon Wood and
£165.00 to Mark Paviour’s fund raising for Cardiomyopathy Research.
Junior sessions have gone well. These are to continue in the Autumn.
All Risk Assessments for our main training venues have been finalized. There is also a Health &
Safety Top Ten to go in Newsletter and a one page guidance for ad-hoc events.
It is hoped to run a further First Aid Course if anyone is interested in doing it.
Sam is looking into the possibility of purchasing a portable de-fib for the club.
Club coaches have full first aid kits to take to training venues.
Members to be asked to send race reports to Bronwyn, Huw or Sam in order that they are put on the
Club Website as well as on Facebook.
23 have signed up for the Winter Training Camp.
Best run of an October Parkrun to count as part of the championship.
Club Questionnaire to be sent out to all members.
High Vinnalls Time Trial – Tuesday 5th September.

Elaine Blenkharn had donated some money to enable the club to buy refreshments to be served at the
DB Memorial Run at Bircher.
Run the Wye – 21st August 2023 – proposal to run the Saturday route from Ross to Monmouth.
Mad Chairmans Challenge – 13th July.
Sue Davies memorial run at Bury Ditches.
Tim volunteered to take over the monitoring of results from The Club Championship.
Winter Training Camp all booked.
Proposed date for Quiz Night – September/October at The Bateman Arms, Shobdon.
Croft has made a donation to Wigmore School for prizes – £50
Juniors – Kelly would like to have two Coaching Assistants (junior specific).
Main Points from the Meeting held on Wednesday 26th April 2023
It is hoped that the Juniors groups will be up and running on Monday 15th May. Wigmore School 5:30-
6:30pm. This will be a 10 week block at a cost of £20.00 per child.Information to be put on Facebook
and a juniors section created on the web site.
Health & Safety Policy is now on the website and we are all compliant.
Risk Assessments to be created for all training venues.

Sue P has been working hard organising Shobdon Wood event.
Kelly has been to look at Dol-y-Gaer, Brecon. It has good running opportunities and Kelly knows the
area well. Huw to contact Dol-y-Gaer to confirm availability and draft proposal with Kelly for approval.
A £30 deposit for those wanting to attend was suggested.
