Steam Bunny Stomp

A small field of 46 runners braved torrential storms for this 7 miler, the 3rd race in the South Wales Summer series,  held over the mountains to the north of Pontypool. The  route with some good running over the moors also involved  2 very steep climbs and a descent that had even Gary struggling to keep his feet!  Gary eventually finished 19th overall, 2nd to Steve Littlewood in the o/60 category, in a time of  76.04. Tom finished  34th in a time of 90.11. The race was won by Matt Stott in 57.01, first lady was Niki Morgan 11th place in 71.24.
