A long discussion took place on Martin Flowers’ proposals for restarting the Herefordshire leagues. Chip timing is likely to be used, so subs might need to rise to pay for it. Separate races/starts for females and males were suggested. Divided opinion on whether to offer shorter courses for women/older men. We generally liked the Herefordshire X-C courses, even if hilly, rather than the flatter variety run on playing fields etc. All participating clubs should contribute, in one way or another, to the laying on of courses.
