On Saturday 14th October the Worcestershire Beacon race was run for the 66th time. Although the race is not too far away and is run over 7 miles on the paths and tracks of the Malvern Hills it has never held a great attraction for Croft runners.
This year there were just two Crofters, Alison Davies finishing in 1.27.23. Brian Davies, completing the race for the 37th time, finished in 1.37.12, the first and only over 80 to finish!
