Schools relays at King Henry VIII, Coventry

Will Hayward, running for Shrewsbury School, competed in this 2.3 mile relay event, held at King Henry VIII School in Coventry, which attracted some 500 runners from across the country. Running last, in a team of 6, he completed the cross country course (which included a ford) in 12.39 – a time which meant he was 37th fastest on the day, and which ensured Shrewsbury finished in 4th place.
