Bredon Bash

Race Reports
An excellent little hill race but a long way to go to make the 7.30 start on a Thursday evening. The 6 mile route starts and finishes with a short section of road outside Elmley Castle cricket club, a reasonably flat section across fields is followed by a continual climb up around the tower at the top of Bredon hill before returning on the same route.
Crofters who make the trip are normally rewarded with good finishing positions  as most of the runners appear to be used to flat road running and don’t like mud and hills! The sandwiches afterwards are also special.
Gary G and Tom were both rewarded with 1st in their category. Gary  38th in 53.01, Tom 47th in 56.34. There were 82 finishers.
