The A team produced a great result to finish the series in 2nd place, behind Couriers, with the B team in 7th. Stacey finished 3rd individual, behind Matt and Luke, but then came great packing from Dave Moss, Dave George, Dan and Richard ( 9 -12th). Dave Powell was a little further back in 17th, and Pat, on home ground, 26th. Suzanne though stormed back into first lady’s place, 32nd overall. Tom (45th) again had the better of Jimmy (47th) and Gary (51st), and Nicky (61st) was closing on Neil (60th). Bryan (74th) held off John Cooper in the over 65 race, and Kim this time got the better of Carol Farrington, who brought up the rear.
Stacey was 3rd overall, Guy 1st over 60 and Bryan 1st over 65; Suzanne was perhaps unlucky not to quite pip Lisa Quinn for 1st lady, finishing 2nd, just 6 points adrift. A great summer season, heralding a promising winter cross country.
