The magnificent final race of the series saw Sue winning the ladies race, and both men and women having 4 runners in the top 10 finishers, resulting in 2 team first places. Sue had over 30 seconds cushion, ahead of Claire Thomas (Ludlow), and again Gemma, Irina and Ruth provided great support, in 5th, 6th and 7th places. Jo, Sam and Sonia (in her first race in sky blue?) were not far behind. Simon had probably his best finish ever, 4th, just a little over 2 minutes behind the winner. With Stacey 6th, Mark 8th and Andrew 10th, we were easily first team on the day, but 3rd overall. Glyn had a good run in 13th, then came Neil P (21st) ahead of Jordan (27th), Ben R (30th), Mick (31st) and Paul (34th). Ben M running the course for the first time will no doubt be pleased the winter series is now over!
In the series results, Sue was 1st FV45, Irina (fantastic result) 3rd F, Sam 3rd FV35, Andrew 1st Junior M, Stacey 3rd M, Simon 1st MV40 (tough category), Neil T 3rd MV55 and Guy (the only) MV65.
