The final road handicap event of the summer attracted 18 runners on a warm still evening. Frank crossed the finish line first in fine style setting a new P.B. as did Martin in second place as he continues to improve with every race. Mark, with a typically determined performance, completed the top 3. Kayleigh again improved her best time with another spirited run. It was good to see Mick back pacing the rural roads of north Herefordshire after an absence of 12 years or more. Way back in 1991 Mick recorded the 2 nd. fastest time over this traditional course. Also good to see Richard back in action after a lengthy lay-off.
The next 3 handicap events will take place in Croft Woods with the first being held on 13th July.
